Child At Play Signs are crucial in any busy environment where children play. The primary importance of displaying Child At Play Signs is to prevent injury and ensure drivers are well aware of the possible children playing in the road.

How is the Slow Down Doll different from other Child at Play Signs?

Standing at 3 ft x 2 ft (the average size of a 3 year old child), The Slow Down Doll is a Patent Pending, reflective Child at Play Sign.  Designed to grab driver's attention and make them slow down, each sign has 3M™ Series 3930 High-Intensity Prismatic Reflective Sheeting (the same coating used on street signs) to ensure the best visibility in any driving condition.

Why use the Slow Down Doll?

Other Child at Play Signs designed for this purpose have proven to not be effective in practice.  According to Parents.com, about 400 children aged 15 and under are killed each year after being hit by a vehicle. In addition, every year, 1,700 children under the age of 16 are killed and 240,000 are injured in car accidents.  Our mission is to reduce those numbers as much as possible by designing the most effective Child at Play Signs possible.

What is the Slow Down Doll made of?

The Slow Down Doll is a 3 ft x 2 ft cutout made out of corrugated plastic. It is then coated with 3M™ Series 3930 High-Intensity Prismatic Reflective Sheeting (the same coating used on street signs) to ensure the best visibility in any driving condition.

Is the Slow Down Doll recyclable?

Yes! Corrugated plastic is recyclable. When you're finished using your Slow Down Doll, the material can be melted down and reformed into new sheets or other products. it can be taken to a local recycling facility in your area to be used for new products.  Our goal is to minimize our carbon footprint by keeping the slow down doll out of landfills, and instead should be used to create new materials across the United States

Is the Slow Down Doll waterproof?

Yes! Corrugated Plastic is waterproof, so you'll never need to worry about storing your Slow Down Doll when it rains.
